Position Overview
Provide individualized behavioral support to students, implementing intervention strategies designed to promote positive behaviors, emotional regulation, and student success.
Monitor student behavior and progress, document observations, and adjust support strategies in collaboration with the educational team.
Respond appropriately to behavioral escalations and implement approved crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and support professionals to reinforce behavioral goals and promote consistent interventions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or Special Education OR a Bachelor’s degree in Education/Special Education with five years of experience working with students with behavioral and emotional disabilities
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and Driver’s License
Ability to obtain and maintain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Certification
Experience supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs
