Description
Position Overview:
Deliver specialized instruction and intervention services to elementary students with diverse learning needs through inclusive classroom support, small-group instruction, and individualized teaching strategies.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using student data to guide instruction and measure progress toward goals.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to provide academic and behavioral supports that promote student success.
Provide targeted literacy and math interventions to help students access grade-level curriculum and achieve meaningful academic growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate Educational Needs) or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date
Experience supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Developmental Delays (DD), and other diverse learning needs preferred
Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and evidence-based instructional strategies
