Join Cross Country Education as a Licensed Mental Health Professional in Inglewood, CA, and help students overcome challenges, build positive coping skills, and feel supported both in and out of the classroom.
Position Overview
Provide individual and/or small-group mental health counseling and therapeutic support to approximately 12 students.
Assess student needs, develop appropriate treatment strategies, and monitor progress toward social-emotional and behavioral goals.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes and other required records, while protecting student confidentiality.
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being, classroom engagement, and overall academic success.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field
Valid California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) License
Experience providing mental health or counseling services in a school setting, preferably with adolescents or students with diverse social-emotional needs
