What You’ll Do
As a school-based Special Education Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Develop and implement individualized instruction that supports students’ academic and developmental needs.
Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that helps students build skills and achieve their individual goals.
Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation related to instruction, goals, and student development.
Qualifications
Degree in Special Education or a related field
State certification or licensure in Special Education
Experience working with students with special needs is preferred
