Description

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher with an English focus to provide individualized instruction and meaningful support to elementary students in Harrisburg, PA.
Position Overview
Provide individualized special education instruction to upper elementary level students , supporting English academic, communication, behavioral, social, and functional skill development.
Develop and implement differentiated instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals and individual learning needs.
Monitor student progress, maintain required special education documentation, and collaborate with paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.
Foster a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, independence, positive behavior, and meaningful learning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Pennsylvania K–12 Special Education Certification w/ endorsement in English
Experience supporting elementary students with autism and/or in an Autistic Support or self-contained special education setting preferred
