Position Overview
Provide professional nursing care and support to students in a school setting, addressing routine and acute health needs.
Assess student health concerns, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and maintain accurate health records.
Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed.
Promote student health and safety while maintaining confidentiality and following applicable school health policies.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Completed NYSED fingerprinting (or ability to obtain before starting)
School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
