Description

Position Overview:
Provide individualized instruction and behavioral support to elementary students with autism spectrum disorders in a structured, inclusive learning environment.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using data-driven practices to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction.
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies, including structured teaching, positive behavior supports, and visual supports, to promote academic, social, and functional growth.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff to foster student success and create an engaging, supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Experience developing and implementing IEPs, conducting student assessments, and applying evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to support students with autism spectrum disorders
