Position Overview
Provide adapted physical education instruction and support to K–12 students with diverse needs.
Conduct student assessments and evaluations, develop IEP goals, and adapt instruction to support individual needs and participation.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable special education and educational requirements.
Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams across assigned school sites to promote student progress and success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Valid California Teaching Certification with an Adapted Physical Education (APE) Authorization (Required)
Experience providing adapted or specialized physical education services to K–12 students preferred
