Description
Position Overview
Provide occupational therapy services to K–8 students, supporting fine-motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and functional skills needed for success in the classroom.
Implement individualized therapy activities and interventions under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Monitor student progress, document treatment sessions and outcomes, and communicate observations to the supervising OT and appropriate school staff.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to reinforce therapeutic strategies and promote student participation, independence, and classroom success.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
Active Arizona Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
