Description
Position Overview
Provide skilled nursing care and health support to students across school-based settings, responding to individual medical needs throughout the school day.
Monitor students’ health conditions, administer medications and treatments as directed, and respond appropriately to changes in health status or medical needs.
Support students with pediatric and pediatric diabetes care, while maintaining accurate documentation and following established care plans and safety protocols.
Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed to promote student health, safety, and well-being.
Qualifications
Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
Current American Heart Association CPR certification and successful completion of AHCA Level 2 background screening — required
Valid Driver's License
Pediatric and pediatric diabetes knowledge required, with experience providing care to pediatric populations preferred
