Operating Room / Surgical Travel RN
• Provide patients with perioperative care in recovery, procedure, and operating rooms.
• Ensure operating room is sterilized and prepared with all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Monitor patient’s vitals and report adverse reactions in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement patient care plans for surgical patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
• If necessary, respond to medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
• Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• Availability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• Also referred to as: operating room registered nurse, surgical nurse, scrub nurse, circulate nurse.

Job Requirements:
• 1+ year of surgical experience as an Operating Room nurse
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• May require ACLS certification
