• Number of Beds - Cath lab 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath / suites
• Number of Staff – 9
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift - day shift 6:45 to 4:15 CVL
  • 0700-1700 pre-post - variable
• Patient Ratios - 3 staff to 1 patient. Cath Lab procedural area
• Type of equipment – GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 6 months’ current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
• BLS
• ARRT (R)
• RCIS or RCES
• If they have the RCIS or RCES, they must be willing and able to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before they start working

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred
• Holding experience
• Monitoring experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention
• Pacers, ICD’s, Cardioversions, TEE’s Tilt Table Tests, Dobutamine stress test.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

• Must take on-call responsibilities with rest of team. Must be housed within 30 min of the Cath Lab.
• We divide call evenly through the 4-week schedule- usually 8-12 days. We try to do only one weekend during that 4 week block but that is not always possible.
