Known as one of the best small towns in America, Easton lies along Maryland’s beautiful Eastern Shore, directly across the Chesapeake Bay from Washington, D.C. The Chesapeake and various local rivers offer sailing opportunities if you enjoy spending time on the water. On land, old brick buildings pepper the area and are particularly charming in the Fall. Downtown Easton has many small, eclectic fashion shops and bookstores to browse away on sunny afternoons. Pickering Creek Audubon Center is a lovely place to exercise, watch for wildlife and be one with nature.
