The role involves comprehensive leadership and operational oversight within a clinical or healthcare setting. It includes active participation in recruitment, onboarding, and training processes to ensure staff readiness and integration. The position supervises daily operations, ensuring adequate staffing and efficient workflows. It emphasizes collaboration with healthcare teams to enhance patient care strategies, standardize procedures, and improve operational efficiency. The role also includes conducting performance evaluations, ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting patient experience, and managing financial performance. Additionally, it supports educational initiatives and communicates effectively across teams to maintain high standards of care and clinic operations.

Essential Functions

• Collaborates in recruitment activities, including interviews, onboarding and training of potential candidates and new hires to ensure adequate onboarding 
• Oversees the scheduling, assignment, and supervision of employees within area to allow for adequate staff for operations 
• Collaborates with all members of the health care team to develop and enact patient care strategies to allow for adequate patient treatment, designs and implements routine work procedures to allow for standardization and increased operational efficiencies 
• Conduct performance reviews for direct reports and provide performance input for indirect reports to improve and maintain quality and performance levels 
• Oversees safe operations of the clinic for safe efficient care for patients and to provide a safe workplace for staff, provide oversight of compliance specific to departmental operations to maintain compliance with regulatory and legal standards 
• Develops and analyzes the quality of patient care based on evidence-based practice and institutes change in procedures when necessary to meet or exceed organizational goals 
• Promotes patient experience to ensure adherence to care principles and maintain and improve the patient/customer experience 
• Responsible for financial performance of the unit towards budgets and financial targets

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing

Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) 
• Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) 
• CPR Certified

Work Experience

• Six (6) years of experience in professional nursing. 
• Master's degree in Nursing may substitute for up to additional two years of required experience.

• Understands clinical workflows, regulatory standards, and legal requirements to ensure safe and compliant operations. 
• Demonstrates ability to supervise, schedule, and evaluate staff performance to maintain quality and operational efficiency.
• Skilled in interviewing, onboarding, and training new hires to ensure smooth integration and readiness for clinical roles. 
• Collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care strategies and communicates professionally across all levels. 
• Applies evidence-based practices to assess and enhance patient care quality, and implements procedural changes to meet organizational goals. 
• Manages unit budgets and financial targets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and efficient resource utilization.
