Opportunity Highlights
Schedule: 24 hour in-house shifts, 8a-8a. Dates needed: March 12, 13, 17, 22, 23; April 10, 21, 27; May 8, 24, 26; June 5. Ideally arrive the day prior for orientation.
Job Setting: Hospital - Trauma Level 1,
Types of Cases: Assess, diagnose, monitor, promote health and protection from disease, and manage care to adolescent and adult females focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, gynecological needs, and the care of the well newborn during the first 28 days of life. CNMs may admit patients to the hospital under consult with the MD. May provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies. Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services.
Credentialing: Estimated 14 days
Minimum Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible required
Certifications: Fellowship required
Licensure: PA state license required
