This position with one of VISTA’s healthcare partners in Illinois, offers a rewarding chance to support a dedicated perinatal team during a three-month maternity leave.

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Five 24-hour shifts every two weeks (additional shifts available if desired)
• Hours: Includes 8 hours on-site clinic time per shift; call taken off-site after clinic
• Job Setting: Level I Newborn Nursery and Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN)
• Scope: Newborn assessments, delivery attendance, respiratory management, and care coordination with nursing and medical teams
• Experience: Must be highly experienced and able to work independently while collaborating closely with the perinatal team
• Credentialing: Temps available for faster onboarding

Minimum Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
• Licensure: Active Illinois license required
• Experience: Significant independent neonatal care experience
• Certifications: DEA
