Need an Occupational Therapist for an Occupational Therapist traveler position in Nebraska!
Occupational Therapist / OT
Traveler position
Outpatient setting - Ergonomics
Certified ergonomist required.
With the implementation of a new job description system, the company will be reviewing and updating every job description in the health system. It is anticipated that some jobs will be harmonized if their essential functions are similar. The review will also include populating content for physical requirements and work environment. A template has been developed for each element (i.e. lifting, carrying, bending, keyboarding/typing, etc.) that will be tracked on each job description. Some of the elements currently on job descriptions can be mapped over and some are new. The new job description system has the capability to identify a set of physical requirements based on the work environment (i.e. office, clinical, facilities, food services, etc.) which will prepopulate the job description. Seeking subject matter expert who can review current job description content, develop list of pre-populated templates needed (i.e. office, clinical, facilities, food services, etc.), identify the physical requirements selections (i.e. occasional, frequent, continuous, weight, etc.) for each element (i.e. lifting, carrying, bending, keyboarding/typing, etc.) and map each job description to a template. While the job description will be reviewed and signed off on by leadership, who will also have the ability to update or override original selections, the review of physical requirements and work environment will not involve conversations with employees performing the job or leaders of those areas to put an initial draft together. Much of this work will require independent research and analysis, using the current job descriptions.
