Job Summary
Pediatric Floor (PEDS) position located in Grand Marais, Minnesota. This inpatient and outpatient role involves providing pediatric care in a critical access hospital setting. Candidates must bring their Minnesota Professional Therapist (PT) license on the first day. The position offers a flexible schedule with day shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Location: Grand Marais, Minnesota
- Minimum Experience: 0 years
- Schedule: Days, 36 hours per week, four 8-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift (36 Hrs/wk). Up to 1 weekend per month with a maximum of 4 hours on weekends.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota PT license; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; 2 years of Physical Therapist (PT) experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric focus experience (approximately 60% pediatrics, 40% adult); EMR proficiency with Meditech; ability to float between inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Additional Information: Critical access hospital in a remote location; provides inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care services; includes a 37-bed skilled nursing facility, ambulance service, and diagnostic and therapeutic services. Proper attire includes closed-toed shoes or tennis shoes, no hanging jewelry, and nail polish is permissible.
