Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a highly qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel assignment at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Monterey County, California. This position involves evaluating and treating patients within a large, dynamic healthcare environment. Candidates are required to bring their active California Occupational Therapist license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Salinas, California
- Specialty: Occupational Therapist (OT) SNF
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Schedule options include Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.
- Required Qualifications: Active California Occupational Therapist license (or in process under the 60-day rule), at least 2 years of relevant experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred; new graduates welcome with mentorship available.
- Additional Information: The role requires strong documentation and time-management skills, as well as a flexible and collaborative mindset. Clinicians may be required to float to sister facilities within walking distance. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating SNF patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and completing documentation in Net Health per facility standards.
