<h3>Job Description</h3> <p>As a cytologist, also called a cytotechnologist, you'll analyze samples of cells under the direction of a pathologist. Working in a laboratory at a hospital, private practice, outpatient center or other healthcare facility, you'll process samples, view cells under the microscope, detect cellular changes, process patient data and more.
