Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Palo Alto, California. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves performing a full range of nuclear medicine procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring safety and quality control in a clinical setting. The position is essential in supporting diagnostic and research missions within the organization.

Job Details:

  • Location: Palo Alto, California
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Licenses and certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), CA Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (NMT-RHN), and one of the following: ARRT-N (Certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), NMTCB (Certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board), or ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification.
  • Additional Information: Performs all nuclear medicine and PET-CT imaging procedures, calibrates and prepares radiopharmaceuticals, maintains safety standards, evaluates image quality, and participates in training and research activities. Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with a focus on accuracy and safety.
