Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Presque Isle, Maine. This role involves performing PET Computed Tomography (PET CT) scans in an imaging unit that includes gamma cameras, stress rooms, and PET CT equipment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This is a temporary travel opportunity with a start date of July 6, 2026.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 4/10 hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). Techs will rotate start times between 05:30 AM-06:00 AM or 07:00 AM, with 8-10 hour days, depending on the schedule that day.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine (NM) certification. Valid Maine state license. At least 0 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Preferred Qualifications: One or more years of experience with nuclear medicine scans and PET CT procedures.
  • Additional Information: Must have experience with the listed scans, support on the unit as Lead Tech with two additional techs per shift, and support from an onsite radiologist. Orientation will be approximately two weeks, depending on skillset and comfort level. No weekends, no call required, and no holiday work expected.
  • Technology/Equipment: Siemens dual-head camera, GE IQ PET CT, Enterprise Imaging AGFA PACS.
  • Support and Support Staff: Lead Tech and two techs per shift; internal transport with radiologist on-site.
