The Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position is located in Salem, Virginia. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services in a healthcare facility, focusing on pediatric patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Location: Salem, Virginia
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, rotating weekends
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS); no experience or additional education requirements specified.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing procedures such as blood gases analysis, CPT treatments, nocturnal pulse oximetry, and bedside ABG obtainment. Experience with Bipap management, ventilator management, extubation, and use of equipment like EPOC Blood Gases, PB 840, Newport, ReVel, LTV, V60 is essential. Typical unit includes 500+ beds with approximately 30 staff members. The unit covers areas such as CICU, SICU, MICU, and step-down units. The dress code is royal blue scrubs.
