Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician position available in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves supporting various interventional radiology procedures, including embolizations, nephrostomy tube placements, IVC filter placements, and suprapubic catheter insertions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The shift is during daytime hours, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification, BLS certification, North Carolina location requirement, 0 years of experience preferred, valid drivers license and insurance (if applicable)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) certification is preferred
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information:
    • Only techs working overnight will be considered for night shifts
    • Support staff includes a radiologist, nurse support, and rotating technologists responsible for circulating, scrubbing, and documenting procedures
    • Department utilizes Philips monitoring systems and EPIC electronic medical record system
    • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
    • Parking: Surface lot and parking decks available at no cost
