Job Summary:
The location is in Sylvania, Ohio. The position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including operating ventilatory equipment, performing diagnostic tests, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patient safety. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The shift is scheduled for nights, with 12 hours per shift, and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Ohio respiratory therapist license; certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); zero years of experience required; educational or training requirements aligned with state licensing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric respiratory therapy is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will evaluate patients, recommend treatment plans, and perform routine and complex respiratory procedures including ventilatory support, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, monitoring, and assisting with invasive procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with physicians, and adhering to all clinical policies and safety standards.
