Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist position located in Austell, Georgia. This role requires candidates to be able to operate independently during procedures, demonstrate competency in interventional and vascular procedures, and have a minimum of three years of experience in interventional special procedures such as IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings. Candidates are required to bring their licenses on the first day and must possess valid certifications including ARRT (Americans Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and Basic Life Support (BLS). The position is scheduled for daytime shifts with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts and one weekday night every fourth Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
Job Details:
- Location: Austell, GA
- Schedule: Day shifts, 4 x 10-hour shifts, with one weekday night every 4th (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT certification (such as ARRT Cardio Vascular Interventional, ARRT Radiography, ARRT Vascular Intervention Rad) and BLS certification upon hire. Minimum of 3 years' experience in interventional special procedures in IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification upon hire or ACLS Instructor certification.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be proficient in machinery such as Phillips and have experience with electronic medical record systems like Epic. They should possess an understanding of anatomy and pathology relevant to interventional radiology procedures. Excellent communication in English and a positive attitude are essential.
