Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered for a night shift position in Reno, Nevada. The successful candidate will provide respiratory care by prescription of the physician in adult critical care and neonatal critical care units. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
- Location: Reno, Nevada
- Required Qualifications: NV license required, ABG License required, RRT credentials required, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications required, must have greater than 3 years of level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience with competency in high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, neonatal intubation, neonatal ventilator management, bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), heated high flow for the neonate, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery attendance. NICU transport experience is preferred. Shift time is 1800-0630, with a minimum of 12 hours per shift.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal transport experience preferred.
- Additional Information: Traveler may need to be scheduled for on-call. Traveler will need to float to all areas adult critical care and neonatal critical care.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Must live 100 miles away from the facility. Candidates must submit application/resume demonstrating the specified work experience.
