Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist position based in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized imaging services for diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing various imaging modalities such as fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MR. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with vascular interventional teams, physicians, and nurses to offer high-quality patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment and possess a minimum of two years of clinical interventional imaging experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, starting between 0700 and 0830 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
    • State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer
    • ARRT (R) certification
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
    • Two years of clinical interventional imaging experience
    • COVID-19 Vaccination: Not Required
    • Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Charge Experience
    • Trauma Level II Experience
    • Charting System Experience (Epic preferred)
  • Additional Job Details:
    • This position requires floating as needed.
    • Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.
    • Pass/Fail Telemetry Exam: Two attempts allowed, with a score of at least 80%. Adult and Pediatric exams test identification of lethal rhythms and heart blocks.
    • Certification in ARRT (R), ARRT (VI), BLS, CT, and WI Radiographer License required.
    • Candidate must be able to perform a wide variety of interventional procedures including angiography, embolization, catheter placement, and other specialized imaging services.
    • Imaging equipment includes GE and Siemens systems.
    • Inpatient and outpatient care for adult and geriatric patients, including intra-operative imaging.
