Job Summary

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist) position in Danbury, Connecticut. This role involves supporting high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures across electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories. The technologist will participate in a variety of emergent and advanced interventional cases, ensuring optimal patient care and procedural success.

Job Details

  • Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, with start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM; schedule may include weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as required by departmental needs.
  • Required Qualifications: State of Connecticut Radiographer license and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI; minimum of 3 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology laboratories; proficiency in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred); proficiency in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures such as diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy); supporting mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella, IABP, temporary pacing; experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions; expertise in radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices; and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Siemens systems; proficiency in scrubbing structural heart procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman; skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies such as ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems.
  • Additional Information: The ideal candidate will be a cross-trained cardiovascular technologist with advanced experience supporting a variety of high-acuity cardiovascular and neurointerventional procedures. Participation in on-call duties is required.
