Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) position is located in a pediatric cardiac catheterization laboratory within a level II pediatric trauma center. This role involves supporting pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures, including expertise in cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology, and related interventions. The position requires prior experience in a pediatric cath lab and offers a challenging yet rewarding environment dedicated to specialized patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, from 07:00 to 17:30, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, prior pediatric cath lab experience, current BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT certification, and active WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional cases, electrophysiology procedures, patient monitoring (sedation provided by anesthesia), PACS systems (e.g., Picom), hemodynamic (e.g., Merge), and C-arm (e.g., Siemens Artis), as well as EMR systems such as EPIC Cupid (preferred).
• Responsibilities: Support pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures such as LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, stenting/ballooning, collateral closure, pacemaker and generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, EP studies, and radiofrequency ablations for arrhythmias. Monitoring experience is preferred.
• Float: No float rotation required.
• On Call: 7 call shifts within a 3-week rotation, including weekends. Weekend call is from EOS Friday to 0700 Monday; weekday call is from EOS to 0700 the following day. Response time is 45 minutes; no sleep room available.
• Holiday Expectations: Call only, included in department call rotation.
