Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer in Evanston, Illinois. This position involves performing vascular imaging independently, including arterial, venous, and carotid imaging, with a focus on advanced studies preferred. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role offers flexible daily shift options with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts beginning on 06/21/2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Evanston, Illinois
- Shift Hours: 8 hours per day, days schedule (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) with various start times on different shifts
- Schedule: 4x10 (7:00 AM 5:30 PM) or 5x8 shifts
- Required Qualifications: Completion of a 2-year ultrasound program, 2+ years of clinical ultrasound experience, valid Licensure as a Vascular Technologist (Vascular Tech), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) certification, and BLS certification
- Experience: 5 years in Ultrasound including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging, with large Level 1 trauma experience and proficiency with GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment, covering adult, neonate, and pediatric patient groups
- Floating Requirements: Float rotation may be required to all four Northshore Hospitals and two off-site locations (Skokie - ambulatory and Glenbrook - cardiovascular)
- Weekend Requirements: Yes, rotating Saturday work
- On-Call Requirements: Yes, Monday through Friday 5:30 PM 9:30 PM, Saturday (start time dependent on site) 9:30 PM, and Sunday 7:00 AM 9:30 PM
- Submission Requirements: Demonstrated ability to perform vascular imaging independently, including arterial, venous, and carotid imaging (required), with advanced studies preferred
- Notes: The candidate has been pre-closed on a posted package
