Description

Job Summary:
A Home Health Physical Therapist (PT) position is available in Red Bluff, California. This role involves providing therapy services to geriatric and orthopedic patients in a home health setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

Location: Red Bluff, California
Shift: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, minimum of 1 year of experience, California state license, and home health experience
Experience: 0 years (note: the position requires at least 1 year of home health experience, but candidates with less than 2 years may be considered)
Common diagnoses / types of patients: Orthopedic/joint replacements, geriatric patients with multiple co-morbidities including CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
EMR System: HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) - HomeCare HomeBase
Additional Information: Staff are provided a tablet for charting. The service area covers most of Tehama County, with some smaller areas outside the office range. Therapists may travel around 40 miles per day, with expectations to reduce travel as additional therapy staff and patient redistribution occur.
Certification Requirements: BLS Certification
Schedule: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday
Notes: There is no weekend or holiday requirement. No vents or call duties are included.
Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per assignment
