Description
Job Summary:
Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) are sought for a position in Iowa City, Iowa. The role involves providing respiratory care services in a clinical setting, with shifts primarily scheduled during nights. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting neonatal intensive care units and other specialized units as needed.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) & Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) not acceptable; Neonate specialist
- Location: Iowa City, Iowa
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist (RT) certification, Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, at least 3 years of relevant experience, NICU exposure (preferably Level III/IV)
- Preferred Qualifications: Night shift experience, Neonatal Pediatric Resuscitation (NPR) certification
- Additional Information: Experience with neonatal intensive care units is preferred, especially in high-level neonatal units. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as per clinical requirements.
