Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician position in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role involves working in a fast-paced interventional radiology unit performing a variety of complex procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This assignment is for a 13-week contract, with guaranteed hours, and starting as soon as possible.

Job Details:

  • Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
  • Schedule: 8 hours flexible days, typically from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate, ARRT certification, BLS certification, WI license (AHA or ARC certifications acceptable), minimum of 2+ years experience performing high quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography exams, cone beam CT exams, three-dimensional reconstruction, and complex interventional procedures including interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional cases
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience highly preferred
  • Experience in Interventional Catheterization Procedures, Interventional Vascular Procedures, or Interventional Neurology required
  • Additional Information:
    • Floats to other locations in central region may be required
    • On call/callback: 1-2 nights per week with a 30-minute response time, callback minimum of 2 hours
    • Holidays and weekends as needed, with every 4th weekend on call only
    • Guaranteed hours per week: 40
    • Contract length: 13 weeks
    • Vaccinations: Flu and COVID-19 vaccines required; declinations result in mask-wearing at all times during flu season.
    • Additional details on low census hours, call back pay, or on-call hours counting toward unbillable hours are applicable.
