Job Summary:
Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) position in Fort Morgan, Colorado. This outpatient role involves treating children with diagnoses such as developmental delay, autism, torticollis, and orthopedic conditions. The candidate must have at least two years of pediatric outpatient experience and hold a Colorado Physical Therapist license. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position offers a flexible schedule of four 10-hour days, with minimal weekend on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Location: Fort Morgan, Colorado
- Schedule: Four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week up to 40 hours as needed
- Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Colorado, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, at least 2 years of Pediatric outpatient experience, and familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience with common diagnoses like developmental delay, autism, torticollis, and orthopedic conditions; experience with outpatient, inpatient, acute rehab, and skilled care settings
- Additional Information: The position involves managing a caseload of children with developmental and orthopedic needs, including potential for early intervention and occasional inpatient assistance. The department conducts orientation during the first week. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment, with fewer cancellations permitted for shorter assignments.
- Submission Requirements: Profile review with MedSol Clinical, interview with the unit manager at the facility, and submission of the Colorado PT license and a driver's license.
