Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Nags Head, North Carolina. This position involves providing outpatient and acute care services to both adults and pediatric patients within the outpatient setting. Candidates are required to bring their North Carolina license on the first day of work. The role is suitable for professionals seeking an ASAP start with orientation every Monday.
Job Details:
- Location: Nags Head, North Carolina
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist Acute specialty
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid North Carolina license, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification, experience or comfort working with outpatient and acute patient populations, and the ability to work in adult and pediatric settings
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient and acute care, strong communication skills, and flexibility to participate in on-call duties including telespeech for regional hospitals (typically one weekend per month)
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The provider must arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of receiving an on-call notification. On-call pay is compensated at 3.00 times the hourly rate, with a call-back period of two hours and a callback pay of 1.50 times hourly rate.
