Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistant in Mound City, Missouri. This role involves supporting clinical interventions through evidence-based practice, providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Mound City, Missouri
• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: One year of Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) experience including long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation experience; COTA license; active State Licensure/Registration when applicable
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates will utilize evidence-based practices to support interventions, administer procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. They will assess patient progress, document all clinical information, participate in meetings and trainings, and support students under supervision. Adherence to NBCOT / AOTA and State practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics is required.
