Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is available in a healthcare facility located in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with a focus on ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols. The starting date is August 3, 2026, with an anticipated assignment duration based on clinical needs.
Job Details:
- Position: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH)
- Schedule: Shift hours are 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS, Education requirements include relevant certification credentials. No minimum experience is specified, but a minimum of 0 years is accepted; 2 years of experience preferred.
- Skills & Experience: Accurate monitoring, angioplasty, arrhythmia induction, ASD closures, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, mapping, stent placement, cardioversion, carotid angiography, embolization, endovascular interventions, electrophysiology procedures, and other interventional radiology techniques.
- Certifications & Licenses: Valid ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS, BLS, ACLS; pending license accepted.
- Additional Information:
- Willingness to float within scope to support interventional radiology, neurointervention.
- On-call requirements: One shift per week and every fourth weekend; some Saturdays required as part of scheduled shifts.
- Time off requested and approved on an individual basis.
- Candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Travel experience not explicitly required but preferred.
- Must be willing to work major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
- References: Two recent references covering a minimum of 1 year of employment within the last three years.
- Copies of certifications and Epic charting experience required.
- No local candidates accepted; candidates must be willing to float within authorized affiliated hospitals.
