Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist position available in Schenectady, New York. This role involves performing vascular access procedures, biopsies, drainages, and angiograms, with occasional involvement in hybrid and operating room procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Shift: 10 hours days
  • Schedule: 07/06/2026 to 10/03/2026
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: ARRT, BLS; Education: R.T. (Registered Technologist) degree; Licensing: New York State license; Experience: minimum of 1 year in interventional radiology or related specialty; Location: Schenectady, NY
  • Preferred Qualifications: VIR certification, familiarity with vascular and hybrid/endovascular procedures
  • Additional Information: Weekend requirements are every 4th or 5th weekend. Call is 1 weeknight weekly. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidate has a minimum of 20 years of experience as an IR Tech, including previous travel, and is familiar with all trauma levels, vascular interventions, neuro and cardiac procedures, and fluoroscopic diagnostic procedures in multiple hospital settings.
