Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing rehabilitation services in an inpatient rehab setting with a focus on spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, and comprehensive memory care. The position requires strong clinical skills, certification compliance, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details
- Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, Days (07:30 AM 4:00 PM), 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Maryland State Occupational Therapist license, NBCOT certification, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience related to inpatient rehabilitation, first-time travelers accepted.
- Skills and Experience: Strong spine/neuro, comprehensive memory care, multiple diagnosis experience, experience with acute care, adaptive equipment assessment, CVA and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, patient and family education, safety and injury prevention, functional splints, wheelchair evaluation, and positioning.
- Certifications: BLS, NBCOT, CPI certificate (online version from a recognized vendor preferred).
- Vaccinations: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required.
- Additional Information: Scrubs to be worn are Black Bottoms with Red or Black tops. No on-call required. Floating within the specialty may be required. No specific patient ratios provided.
