Job Summary:
The specialty of Interventional Radiology is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist (RT-R) for a temporary assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The position involves working in an Interventional Radiology unit with responsibilities that include performing procedures such as PICC lines, C-lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolizations, filter placements, and neuro biopsies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment. The role necessitates the ability to multitask, be adaptable, and work effectively as part of a team, while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Job Details:

• Location: Richmond, Virginia
• Specialty: Interventional Radiology CL
• Schedule: Day Shift (2 registered nurses, 3 technicians, 1 patient care technician) with on-call responsibilities after hours on weekdays (6 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and 24-hour weekend on-call duties
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid RT-R certification, BLS certification, current IR experience, neuro IR experience preferred, and must bring license on the first day
• Additional Information: Typical procedures include PICC lines, C-lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolizations, filter placements, and neuro biopsies. The dress code involves hospital-provided scrubs or attire, with additional shift details specified.
