Job Summary
Radiation Therapist (RTT) position available in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role involves working in a brachytherapy department, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and operating HDR units. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position offers an opportunity to cross-train in other treatment modalities and advance clinical skills.

Job Details

  • Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
  • Schedule: M-F, 10-hour shifts, from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM, rotating days off
  • Required Qualifications: Valid radiologic technology license (MO license or compact license), ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 1 year of relevant experience, ability to pass NRC Radiation Safety exam within first two weeks of contract.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Sensitivity training highly preferred.
  • Additional Information: No weekends, no holidays. Will work in brachytherapy, running HDR units, assisting in brachytherapy implants, and administering radiopharmaceuticals. The individual will also be expected to handle procedures such as intracavity/interstitial administration, dose calculations, and emergency cases. The role includes daily caseload management of 8-15 patients. Certification of vaccinations (flu vaccine) is required, except for medical or religious exemptions.

  • Certifications: ARRT (Radiation Therapy), ARRT (R), BLS
  • Facility & Patient Care Details: Will work within short term acute care facility with a total of 1266 beds, serving adult and geriatric patient populations.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Notes: No RTO beyond 7 days without manager approval. The contract length is firm, with specific compliance deadlines. All travelers will float within the service line.
