Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Pharmacist specializing in inpatient care for a night shift position at a facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services in a hospital setting, with a strong focus on clinical dosing, sterile techniques, and medication management. The position is suitable for a licensed Pharmacist with a minimum of one year of experience and is open to first-time travelers.
Job Details:
- Position: Pharmacist Inpatient
- Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; 7-on/7-off schedule
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, IV Certification, Pharmacy License (pending acceptable, ETA 10 days)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in pharmacy practice, with proficiency in antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, clinical dosing, sterile technique, IV piggyback, TPN mixers, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring, Warfarin dosing, and other specialized skills
- Patient Population: Neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
- Daily Census: 80 patients
- Additional Unit Details: Experience with interdisciplinary support, pharmacy protocols, and inpatient medication management preferred
- Float Requirement: Travelers are expected to float to like units based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided
