Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist (INTRA CL) position available in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures in a busy medical center setting. The technologist will be responsible for assisting with a variety of procedures, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring operational efficiency during day shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of current Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience, BLS certification, ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification, and active Kansas licensure.
- Preferred or nice to have: Prior stroke experience and experience working at large trauma facilities are highly desirable.
- Typical procedures performed on unit: Embolization, Y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, spine work, stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases.
- Additional Information: The role requires flexibility with change, stress management skills, a positive outlook, and patient care experience. The environment features new equipment and technology, with a knowledgeable staff dedicated to quality care.
