Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist position available in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves performing interventional radiology procedures within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires flexibility, adaptability to changing situations, and a positive outlook, with a focus on patient care.

Job Details:

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Kansas licensure; minimum 6 months of current Interventional Radiology Tech experience; BLS certification; ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification
Additional Information: On-call duties include 1 weekend per month and 1 night per week. Procedures performed include embolization, y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, spine work, stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases. Candidates with prior stroke experience or experience at large trauma facilities are preferred.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
