Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized interventional radiology procedures in a high-volume unit, with a focus on patient care, technical proficiency, and adaptability to changing clinical situations. Job Details:

Position: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist
Location: 550 N Hillside Street, Wichita, KS 67214
Shift: Day Shift, 10 hours per day, with minimum of 40 hours per week
Start Date: 08/03/2026
Schedule: 10-hour shifts during daytime hours; call required one weekend per month and one night per week, with inpatient and outpatient procedures from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Required Qualifications: Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ARRT (Registered Technologist) certification, Kansas licensure, and at least 1 year of relevant experience in interventional radiology technology
Preferred Qualifications: Prior stroke experience, experience in large trauma facilities, and familiarity with procedures such as embolization, Y-90 therapy, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, spine work, stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases
Additional Information: The unit features advanced equipment including Philips biplane and GE single-plane angiography systems. Staff consists of 2 nurses and 4 radiology technologists, working in a high-paced environment requiring flexibility, a positive attitude, and patient care focus.
