Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist position available in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves performing interventional radiology procedures within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires flexibility, adaptability to changing situations, and a positive outlook, with a focus on patient care.
Job Details:
- Location: Wichita, Kansas
- Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Kansas licensure; minimum 6 months of current Interventional Radiology Tech experience; BLS certification; ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification
- Additional Information: On-call duties include 1 weekend per month and 1 night per week. Procedures performed include embolization, y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, spine work, stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases. Candidates with prior stroke experience or experience at large trauma facilities are preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
