Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical Nurse Specialist located in Hudson, Florida. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. The role includes performing procedures in the biplane suite and ancillary procedures in the imaging department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: Hudson, Florida
- Schedule: Day Shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and zero years of experience are needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with Neuro Interventional Radiology (IR) and Trauma Interventional Radiology (IR) experience will be considered first.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Unit type: Special Procedures with approximately 8-10 staff members including Techs and RNs on day shift
- Patient ratios: Procedural 1:1
- Major procedures include neuro-interventions, angiograms, embolizations, IR procedures, biopsies, and other ancillary procedures
- Environment fosters learning, teamwork, and inclusiveness, with a leadership team boasting a combined 40 years of experience at the facility
- Schedule includes working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
