Job Summary
X-ray Technologist position located in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures across various settings including portable and operating room environments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification, active license to practice radiologic technology in North Carolina, and zero years of experience required
- Additional Information: Weekend rotations are required. The role involves working with all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and operating room procedures, as well as trauma imaging, using equipment such as GE and Shiatzu radiographic rooms, portable GE units, C-arms (OEC), and Medtronics EMR (Cerner Rad Net). The candidate should be a team player capable of working independently, motivated, and knowledgeable in ED trauma imaging.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
