Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Corpus Christi, Texas. The role involves providing inpatient rehabilitative therapy services within a 15-bed unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, focusing on evaluation and treatment of patients utilizing basic lift and therapy equipment.
Job Details:
- Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
- Shift Hours: 8 hours per day, Day shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 07/27/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Education: Physical Therapist license; Experience: 0 years; Location: Texas
- Schedule: 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026
- Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient rehabilitation experience, CARE scoring experience
- Additional Information:
- Number of Staff: 20
- Patient Ratios: 5 Patients per therapist
- Equipment: Basic lift equipment, therapy equipment
- Typical Procedures: Evaluations, treatments, MBS for speech therapy
- Personality Fit: Team-oriented, energetic
- Floating Area: Acute Care Hospital (float rotation may be required)
- Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs
- Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines
- Weekends and On-Call: At least 2 weekend days per month
- Number of Positions: 1 or 2
