Job Summary:
Cardiac Sonographer specializing in Ultrasonography (Echo) position located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves performing echocardiography exams, including stress and transesophageal procedures, utilizing two-dimensional, color Spectral Doppler, and M-mode imaging techniques. Candidates will work independently, consulting with physicians as needed, and must be able to synthesize patient medical histories. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Schedule: Days shift, with 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or similar, with at least 1 year of current cardiac sonographer experience. Vascular experience preferred.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, working on a rotational basis for call duty, with holiday and weekend rotations required.
• Additional Information:
  • Must have the ability to move and lift patients, equipment, and supplies regularly.
  • Must be proficient in the operation of Hospital Information System (HIS) and Clinical Information System (CIS) computers.
  • Knowledge of clinical emergency equipment such as oxygen tanks and suction apparatus is required.
  • Must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
  • Requested time off must be noted and verified prior to upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
  • Call is required, with a rate of $4/hour added.
  • 8 hours of non-billable orientation provided.
