Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray procedures is sought for a position in Detroit, Michigan. The role involves performing radiologic examinations under the supervision of a radiologist, following department protocols, and utilizing clinical judgment to ensure high-quality imaging. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift time; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (with registry to be obtained within 6 months of date of hire); Healthcare Provider certification (BLS); at least level 1 or level 2 trauma experience; prior OR, Ortho, Neuro, or Vascular experience preferred; schedule includes shifts from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, and 1:00 pm to 11:30 pm every other weekend
- Additional Information: Candidates must maintain continued education hours; should be self-directed, flexible, team-oriented, respectful of diversity, and demonstrate customer service values; may be exposed to radiation, high-voltage equipment, contagious patients, and occasionally lift equipment or patients exceeding 10 pounds.
