Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position available in Smyrna, Tennessee. This 10-week assignment is at a small hospital with a family-like environment, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. The unit is led by very involved leadership eager to see the department succeed.

Job Details:

  • Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
  • Required Qualifications: RN licensure, ARRT or RCIS certification. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of Cath lab experience, preferably in a community hospital or mixed IR and Cath lab setting.
  • Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, dayshift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information:
    • Unit type: Cardiac Cath Lab
    • Skills: Cath Lab experience, monitor experience, circulating (RN), scrubbing (tech), IR, Specials, vascular procedures
    • Experience: 2 years Cath lab experience, with community hospital/mixed IR & Cath lab setting preferred
    • EMR systems: Merge Hemodynamics and Meditech
    • Certifications required: RN licensure, ARRT or RCIS
    • Dress code: Red top and bottom scrubs or black top and red bottoms; Ceil blue is acceptable
    • Procedures performed include: Left and right heart caths, PCI (Type A, B1, some B2 lesions), rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Impella, Getinge IABP, Boston Polaris (FFR and IVUS), Abbott Illumien FFR
    • Additional details: Leadership eager for the department to succeed; small hospital with a family-like atmosphere. Float policy allows radiologic technologists with modality experience to float to imaging, and RCIS may float to IR/endovascular labs. No floating in other hospital departments.
